Apple Faces Lawsuit Over Delayed Apple Intelligence Features
Apparently Apple is lying about its much-hyped Apple Intelligence. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court in San Jose, claims Apple misled consumers by promising AI capabilities that don’t exist on Apple Intelligence devices yet.
Allegations Against Apple
The plaintiffs say Apple created a “reasonable consumer expectation” that Apple AI features would be available on day one of device release. According to the lawsuit, these AI-powered features are either severely limited or not available at all.
Legal Action and Consumer Impact
The lawsuit is seeking class-action status and damages for users who bought devices expecting advanced AI. Apple’s marketing made these features sound revolutionary, but the delay in their rollout has got consumers fed up.
Apple’s AI Issues
The lawsuit comes as Apple’s own executives are losing confidence in the company’s AI strategy. Bloomberg recently reported that Tim Cook has “lost faith” in AI chief John Giannandrea to get Apple AI to market.
What’s Next for Apple Intelligence?
As Apple faces legal and product challenges, the future of Apple Intelligence remains murky. Does Apple have what it takes to deliver on its AI promises? We’ll see.
Stay tuned for more updates on Apple’s AI developments and legal battles.
