Top US AI Startups That Raised Over $100M in 2025
The US AI space is still hot. In 2024, 49 AI startups raised over $100M. Some even grabbed multiple mega-rounds with a few going over $1B.
As we enter 2025, the momentum continues. Several US-based AI companies have already crossed the $100M mark and one has raised over $1B. Here are the US AI startups making waves in 2025.
March: Anthropic Raises $3.5B
Largest funding round of the year so far, Anthropic, a leading AI research and large language model company, raised $3.5B in Series E. The round, led by Lightspeed, valued the company at $61.5B. Salesforce Ventures, Menlo Ventures and General Catalyst also participated.
February: Multiple AI Companies Cross the $100M Mark
Together AI Raises $305M
Together AI, known for its open-source generative AI and AI model development infrastructure, raised $305M in Series B on February 20. Prosperity7 and General Catalyst co-led the round, which valued the company at $3.3B. Salesforce Ventures, Nvidia and Lux Capital also participated.
Lambda Raises $480M in Series D
AI infrastructure company Lambda announced $480M Series D on February 19. SGW and Andra Capital co-led the round, worth nearly $2.5B. Nvidia, G Squared and ARK Invest also participated.
Abridge Raises $250M for AI-Powered Transcriptions
Abridge, an AI platform for transcribing patient-clinician conversations, raised $250M Series D on February 17. The round, valuing the company at $2.75B, was co-led by IVP and Elad Gil. Lightspeed, Redpoint and Spark Capital also participated.
Eudia Raises $105M in Series A Eudia Raises $105M
Legal tech startup Eudia raised $105M in Series A on February 13. General Catalyst led the round with Floodgate, Defy Ventures and Everywhere Ventures.
EnCharge AI Raises $100M
AI hardware company EnCharge AI raised $100M in Series B on February 13. Tiger Global led the round with Scout Ventures, Samsung Ventures and RTX Ventures. The company was founded in 2022 and is based in Santa Clara, California.
Harvey AI Raises $300M
Harvey, an AI legal tech company, raised $300M in Series D on February 12. The three-year-old company is now valued at $3B. Sequoia led the round with OpenAI Startup Fund, Kleiner Perkins and Elad Gil.
January: AI Startups Off to a Strong Start
ElevenLabs Raises $180M
ElevenLabs, a synthetic voice company, announced a $180M Series C round on January 30. The company is currently valued at $3 billion. The round was led by ICONIQ Growth and Andreessen Horowitz in collaboration with Sequoia, NEA, and Salesforce Ventures.
Hippocratic AI Secures $141M for Healthcare AI
On January 9, Hippocratic AI, a company developing large language models for the healthcare industry, raised $141 million in Series B funding. The round, led by Kleiner Perkins, valued the company at over $1.6 billion. Other notable investors included Andreessen Horowitz, Nvidia, and General Catalyst.
The Future of AI Funding in 2025
With 2025 just beginning, the AI industry is off to a strong start. The influx of funding highlights the continued confidence in AI-driven innovation. With technology advancing, more startups will raise substantial amounts, further driving artificial intelligence in the U.S.
