Apple Unveils macOS Tahoe with AI Upgrades, Continuity Features, and New Design
Apple has officially announced macOS Tahoe at WWDC, and it’s packed with exciting features focused on AI integration, seamless iPhone connectivity, and a stunning new design.
One of the biggest visual changes is the introduction of the “Liquid Glass” design. This update offers a sleek, transparent interface and customization options — users can now change folder icon colors, like turning them pink or any color they prefer.
Beyond the look, Apple Intelligence plays a central role in macOS Tahoe. The system now features a more powerful Spotlight, capable of suggesting actions based on your work and predicting search queries. Users can send emails or set reminders directly from Spotlight without opening apps. Custom quick keys like “AR” for adding reminders or “SM” for sending messages make productivity faster and smarter.
Continuity with iPhone is also stronger than ever. Live Activities, Call Screening, and Hold Assist are coming to the new Phone app for Mac. Live Translation will work across Phone, FaceTime, and Messages apps. You’ll also find Genmoji, Image Playground, AI-powered reminders, and polls in Messages in iOS 26.
macOS Tahoe will be available this fall, with a public beta launching next month. Developers can access the preview now.
Stay tuned for more updates on Apple’s smartest macOS yet.
